You can connect a closing edge safety device and/or a wicket door contact to the operator using the Hörmann AT 2 door leaf connection unit. It is also part of the leading photocell connection units VL 1 and VL 2 for Hörmann garage door operators. The AT 2 ensures secure attachment of the circuit board housing to the sectional or up-and-over door and optimum and trouble-free routing of the system cable via the guide rail to the operator. You can use a system cable to connect the desired closing edge safety device, leading photocell or wicket door contact to the circuit board screwed into the housing.
The AT2 connection unit is only suitable for door drives of series 2 (from 2005) and 3 with an X30 system box.
A closing edge protection increases the safety of the garage door. This mainly concerns pinching and sliding points on the closing edge of the door. The closing edge protection can be checked via LED displays. The AT 2 door connection unit establishes the connection with a corresponding drive. In addition to the connection to the closing edge protection, the AT2 connection unit can also be used for communication with a corresponding pedestrian door contact. With a pedestrian door contact pedestrian doors can be optimally secured. This prevents the drive from moving upwards when the pedestrian door is open.
