The end stops transmit to the Hörmann garage door drive the position of the fully open and closed door. One for the door-open position, one for the door-closed position, so normally two end stops are required.

With the door mounted open, the Hörmann end stop is first loosely inserted into the guide rail between the guide carriage and the drive. Then push the door by hand into the open end position and attach the end stop.

For the door-closed position, insert the end stop into the guide rail between the guide carriage and the door and push the door by hand into the door-closed end position. Now push the end stop approx. 10 mm further towards the door and secure it there.

If the garage door does not reach the full passage height in the end position, the rear end stop can be omitted and the stop integrated into the drive head can be used instead.
