The Marantec Special 633R has been developed for reliable operation under various weather conditions and forms an important part of a safe and trouble-free gate installation. Thanks to original Marantec quality, you are assured of perfect cooperation with compatible Marantec controls.
When using double sets of photocells (think of sliding gates where the photocells are located on both the inside and the outside, or when mounted one above the other), it is possible to assign a different polarity to the set. This prevents the 1st set from reacting to the 2nd set and vice versa. Only 2 polarities (think of channels) are available.
The Marantec Special 633R is used as a safety device in various Marantec garage and gate drives. As soon as the infrared beam is interrupted, the controller immediately receives a signal to safely stop the gate or allow it to reopen, depending on the controller's settings.
