Do you have an externally identical toroidal transformer in your drive, but does the label indicate that it is a 100VA version? Then there is no problem replacing it with this 200VA version. This simply fits in the housing. However, the importer has chosen to market the slightly heavier transformer so that the temperature in the housing does not rise as much and therefore there is less chance of malfunctions and defects.
