This set protects a pedestrian door in a garage door. The sensor sends a signal to the motor control if the door is not closed. This prevents the motor from starting, preventing dangerous situations.
Both appear to have the same telephone connector. However, they are indeed different because they do not function the same way. The older series of Marantec Comfort motors (220 / 250 / 252) have an XB10 Bus. The newer Comfort 260 / 270 / 280 - 360 / 370 / 280 motors have the MS-Bus. To use the special 411 on the newer engines, the Marantec expansion board MS-Bus EP141 is required!
