To program these hand-held transmitters and set the DIP switches correctly, it is necessary to disassemble the entire device. This voids any form of warranty and retention. However, you have the choice when purchasing:
Does your transmitter have a 'system switch' (1 DIP switch) in addition to the 10 DIP switches and is it NOT set to 'ON' but IS set to '1'? Then your transmitter is in the older '460 mode'. These new transmitters NO LONGER support the 460 mode and are then NOT COMPATIBLE!
