EQUIPPING DOOR OPERATORS WITH MAVEO

Currently available door operators from Marantec and MFZ can be equipped with Maveo. Older garage door operators can also be included. You do not need to buy a new garage door operator if your garage door operator was purchased from January 2016.

WLAN AND SECURITY AND FUNCTION

The Maveo Connect Stick has WiFi for connection to the router and smartphone. Over-the-air updates with the latest features, functions and security updates are imported via this internet access.

BLUETOOTH® 4.2 LOW ENERGY

Bluetooth® works over short distances based on transmitter technology for signal transmission between devices instead of cable connections. It provides the connection between the Maveo Connect Stick in the door operator and the Maveo app for configuration.

NFC FOR EASY SETUP

Near field communication (NFC) is an international transmission standard for the contactless exchange of data over short distances. NFC is used to identify accessories, for example Marantec bi·linked products and temperature and humidity sensors.

OPEN SYSTEM, OPEN FOR YOUR FUTURE

Maveo is expandable with many smart products, also from external manufacturers. This allows new connections to smart devices to be made.

PLUGINS FROM PARTNERS

Many third-party products are compatible with Maveo and can be included in the scenarios. Examples of this are lighting via Philips Hue or the Netatmo weather station. New functions are integrated as a plug-in via an over-the-air update.

NOTE:

When integrating swing and sliding gate systems, it is essential to pay attention to the Bluetooth® range. The Maveo Connect Stick communicates with the router via WiFi. Make sure that the signal between the router and the Maveo Connect Stick is at least 52% during installation.

Before installation, also note that you do not have to program automatic closing in the door operator itself. Automatic closing after passing the photocell can also lead to undesirable behavior. Use Maveo's "Auto-close" scenario instead.
