The Digital 344.2 receiver is part of the Marantec Multi-Bit system. The product is intended for use in automation systems for gates, garage doors, road barriers with barrier blinds, shutters, skylights and for operating lights and electrical circuits in general.

The relais-functions are adjustable as:
- pulse contact
- on/off (better known as the toggle-function)
- dead man's control (which means the relais stays active for as long as the push button is pressed)

Equipped with a memory with a storage capacity of an unlimited number of remote controls.
