Stick for unlocking locked, safety-relevant programming menus of garage door openers. For Comfort 260 (battery/speed), 270 (speed), 280, 360, 370, 380 and 390 (plus).
The use of the MSA programming module makes it possible to change settings in the control of the garage door opener, including settings that fall outside the manufacturer's standard safety parameters.
Adjusting these settings can lead to situations where the installation no longer complies with the applicable safety standards for a “safe machine” (e.g. in accordance with the Machinery Directive / CE conformity). This can result in dangerous situations with a risk of material damage, serious injury, or even death.
By purchasing and using this module, the buyer/user declares that:
The MSA module contains a unique serial number. Use of the module can be logged by the control system. The serial number of the delivered module is registered by us and linked to the buyer.
To the extent permitted by law, the buyer/user accepts full liability for all consequences of the use of the MSA module, including – but not limited to – damage, injury, or third-party claims arising from modified settings.
The manufacturer, distributor, and reseller accept no liability for damage or consequences arising from the use of the MSA module outside the standard factory settings and/or outside the intended application.
Before purchasing this MSA, first check the gate system.
Never increase the force applied to the gate's closing mechanism. Forces exceeding 400 Nm can be fatal.
The automatic switch-off in the gate's closing mechanism is sensitive to gate movement. This is the most common error message. This can be increased without legal problems.
1. Check the spring tension. The gate should stop in the middle of the opening.
This indicates the correct spring tension for the weight of the gate.
2. Check the contact pressure of the gate panels against the frame. Loosen the rollers.
This is usually the reason why the sensitivity is disabled.
3. Check the guide rail transitions (radius). Adjust them if necessary.
This is usually the reason why the sensitivity is disabled.
1. Check whether the sensitivity is disabled. Features:
Activation of programming menus Level 2 (Drive Settings), Level 3 (Automatic Feed), Level 6 (Variable Speed), and Level 8 (System Settings)
The dongle is REPLACEed into the port on the radio receiver for activation and removed after programming is complete.
