Hörmann limit switch board without fuse

The Hörmann limit switch board provides a signal as soon as an industrial door is fully open or fully closed. This allows connected equipment to react to the position of the door. Think, for example, of signal lights that indicate when the passage is clear.

The board is suitable for expanding an existing installation and for replacing a defective limit switch board. This version is supplied without a built-in fuse.

Applications and operation:

The limit switch board features two relays: one for the ‘door open’ limit position and one for the ‘door closed’ limit position. These relays transmit the limit position signals to connected equipment.

In a suitable traffic light system, the ‘door open’ signal can be used, for example, to switch the light to green as soon as the door is fully open. Outside this final position, the light remains red. The notifications can also be processed by a suitable smart home or automation system. Appropriate additional components and settings are required for this.

Points to consider when ordering and replacing:

Before ordering, check which control unit and any additional PCBs are present in your installation. For accessories that use end-position signals, the installation must have a suitable end-position PCB.

Are you replacing a defective PCB? Then choose the correct version. This product does not have a built-in fuse. The variant with a built-in fuse is offered under item number 637052.

A defective end-position PCB can cause connected equipment not to receive correct end-position signals. As a result, signal lamps, for example, cannot switch at the desired moment.
